Loving how one thing leads to another :)
On the 27th October, I did another photoshoot with an upcoming photographer, Yvette Robertshaw.
I positively loved the shoot, as it was just the sort of thing I’d always wanted to do. A bit editorial, the amazonian look which I love :) I would absolutely love to become a editorial model. The whole process is awesome. Make up did take a great amount of time, but who doesn’t love being made up? :)
The shoot was great fun and Yvette was incredibly professional and brilliant. This is a new partnership in the making :)
Photos to follow shortly :)

Modelling - Finally

Sunday, 20th October, I had the brilliant opportunity to model for a project by Melissa Massey, VinatgeTeaRoses, and photographer Pzemeck Czaicki. Had the most amazing time, creating a story between a young girl and her art. Make up was done by Fawnya Frolic, a remarkably talented artist and truly lovely woman.
The experience was an amazing one, and one of my first professional modelling shoots. I learnt a lot and hoping to put it all into practice again soon.

These were the other ideas for my entry. All making for great research for my next big project.

My final self portrait entered into the Taylor Wessing Prize

Taylor Wessing Prize

Long time no see!
Time has escaped me recently but today seemed a great day to write again! Although no passion will ever exceed that of my acting, the whole art world excites me and I try and dabble in all sorts - My writing, my filmmaking, my photography.
Over the past couple years, I lost touch with my photography, but slowly this year I have reignited my love for the art. And what an excellent opportunity to put myself to the test than to enter the Taylor Wessing Prize with the National Portrait Gallery.
My head was immediately exploding with ideas, many of which I explored, but then I ended up on a self portrait, which is the start of my exploration into a whole series of photographs. (So sorry, I wont be going too much into the reasons and explanations for this particular picture, but stay tuned!)
So today, I was emailed with the result of the competition and shortlists. Sadly, I did not make the top 60 photographs, but I did make the top 300, which out of 5,410 is a pretty thrilling result :) But now I have the result, I can share the image and see what you guys think :) Feedback, as usual, is very very welcome!!
Let me know what you think :) and watch this space for more photos :)
